Innovation and tech
SVP Operations and COO at Alberta Innovates, reorganizing teams and programs around clients and laying the groundwork for the Alberta IP Office. Before that, seven years as President and CEO of Platform Calgary, rebranding a 35‑year‑old organization, opening the Platform Innovation Centre and helping Calgary rank among the world's top emerging startup ecosystems.
Arts and culture
Founding President and CEO of Calgary Arts Development, Canada's first municipally owned arts development agency. Calgary's first Arts Plan, the winning Cultural Capital of Canada 2012 bid, and a cultural spaces strategy that unleashed over $750M in capital investment.
Advising and teaching
PhD in Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, former Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business, Executive MBA instructor, and a consulting practice serving boards and leaders facing complex challenges.
